We are so far away from being legitimate championship contenders it is so depressing man. Tanked for two seasons and didn’t get a single top 5 pick let alone the top pick. Like where are we going with this roster? Who on our roster is even getting playing time on this OKC or Spurs roster?

Fuck man. Basketball is the one sport I truly enjoy. I watch baseball and football but nothing brings me joy more than basketball and this franchise is so cursed. Even when we were “contenders” with KD Kyrie and Harden we didn’t have a single day without some off the court bullshit. When were we as a fanbase truly enjoyed watching basketball? The Russell Dinwiddie team? And that was only one year too.

This franchise is devastating to root for.

I’ve watched few scouting videos and some highlight videos today after the lottery and… I just don’t get it with Kingston Flemings.

1. He is like a jack of all trades but master of none. He doesn’t do anything on an above average level. His at the rim percentages is average. His 3pt shooting is average to below average. His defense is ok if you want someone to hound other team’s PG but his size will never give him the ability to guard up.

2. He looks smaller than Acuff. I know he his taller but he physically looks smaller than Acuff on the court. Acuff is stockier and I can see a scenario where that helps his defense but Flemings looks like someone who can be pushed around.

3. He doesn’t have the “IT” factor. He doesn’t look like a star on the court. Acuff does. If you want a Cason Wallace or Jrue Holiday types where they will be a legitimate starter for 10 years and contribute to a winning team, you might go for Flemings. But we already have players like that. We chose 5 of them in last year’s draft. We need to swing for a star type and I just don’t see it Flemings or even Wagler. I see it with Acuff even if his defense and size is not up to mark.

Please tell me what you guys are seeing with Kingston Flemings. I would really love to know.
