OK, I’m showing this because I showed my bathroom remodel yesterday and I thought this might be helpful to a couple people. I’ve never done plumbing like this before and trying to locate where the new drain needs to be under the floor when there are no reference points for measuring was difficult for me. I came up with this little jig to allow me to set the shower pan in the place, locate the position of the drain, lift up the shower pan and redo all the plumbing. This is not a video showing any completed plumbing work– I wanna make that statement for all the people that are gonna come at me for the four seconds of video that you see.

I just want to share this work that I did because it was so much work and I’m really proud of it. I did all the work myself except for the electrical. There are a few things I would do differently now, but I really dig this area. I usually do a lot of woodworking, but this definitely pushed my DIY knowledge

I showed the joy of lifting the saw by myself the other day and thought someone might like to see how I put the wings on the saw by myself. I hope it helps someone.

This video setup makes me laugh, but I’m sure I’m not the only one who has to do things like this alone? I used a strap underneath the saw to allow me to keep me from bending over.
