Process for hiring
I applied for a state position on 7/8. Was contacted by department director via email to set up a teams interview with director and manager. Had interview 8/5 and I think it went well. They said they should get back to me the following week. Towards the end of the interview, they sent me the CCH form (background check authorization form) for me to complete and the state benefits link for me to read over. Immediately after interview, I sent back the required forms and thanked them for their time. Well, it’s been 7 business days since interview and no word. My status on capps says “under consideration”. My references have not been contacted. Does any of this sound promising to those who have been offered a position? What is the typical timeline from interview to offer?
