Today, I haven’t even picked yet but i think will GIVENCHY - gentleman edt. I originally bought this thinking it was the other original edt flankers. Sith pear and pineapples. At first I was dissapointed. But now have realised this is an absolute bottle of class and a Time Machine into the time this would have been the absolute go to. It’s. A beautiful earthy masculine and very classy scent. I rate it 100% good accidental buy

RABANNE - PHANTOM IN RED: okaaay so I know lot of you will give me hate for this lol. But. FUCK. This. smells. GOOD. Saffron, bergamot, plum liqueur, lavender, orange blossom, sage, amber wood, tobacco and OUD. that is a line a up. And I’m so happy that it smells the way that it does. Perfect mass appealing scent that you could wear in a cold night out 😙 I originally wanted 1 million elixir. But I feel this may be better.
What are your thoughts on both?

This is a beautiful blue/green fragrance. ALOT of green notes but still comes across as a blue scent. For the price this is a steal. The spear mint and apple, work WELL together. Lavender , sage, violet leaf, fir, patchouli and oakmoss…… ohhh my gosh this is good

Morning SOTD is going to be SWY amber, for the partners grandparents visit. I’ve used every single last drop of my SWY amber now 😢. Not sure if I’ll be replace it or get something new in its place. Then we’re taking our twins out later for their bdays last week and that’s when I’ll put on prada black. Give it a proper wear in, out in the public. Every one have a great Sunday and I hope you end your week well🤙🏼
Grabbed the 50ml so I can see if it’s worth grabbing the 100ml. Love this scent. I think it’s one of the best designer fragrances. Something a bit out of the box, just enough to be different , but still in that “designer” realm. which keeps the mrs happy lol. Amber & patchouli.. Fragrantica says musk and Parfumo says none so I’m not sure what the story is. 🔥 it does give off a fair bit of an iris vibe which is great. Very powdery. I do not get any citrus in this at all, even though the notes say bergamot in the top notes.

Commodity - leather. A quite a nice warm leather. If you’re looking for just a straight up leather then this is isn’t rh leather you’re going to want. There’s a lot more warmth and spices and I think resinous notes? Definetely like this and like it for the bit more that it’s got going on.

Took me a while to choose. I wanted to pick something to do go with the weather but also wanted to choose something from the Rogue perfumery discovery set.. I’ve gone with Chypre Siam. And I’m sitting out the back in the cold crisp air and it’s going very well in the cool air. I really do like this. My partner probably won’t. But I do get some of that animalicness to it. I do really enjoy the scents from rogue all for their own reasons , I love that they are based around the forest and moss and green but their own non typical green notes. It’s great. I’ll put a list of all shirt reviews once I’ve worn then all 🤙🏼
I’m wearing Vanille Havane - Les idomables.. look I honestly don’t mind this. But I definitely don’t love it. I love boozy scents. But this has something about it , it’s like it’s too rummy and the dried fruits just give me this dried fruit rum syrup vibe. I want to like it but it’s a no from me, I respect the hustle but I would not buy a bottle of this it gives me angel share vibes in a way.
Ang suggestions a little bit less syrupy less dried fruit , send em my way!

Origin and sniffing ! Can’t complain
Wanted something safe and non offensive but also something that doesn’t cost much and lasts most the day. I went with aqua oud - Ahmed Al Maghribi from private blends. Which is a dupe of acqua di gio - Profumo. Happy with with my purchase 🤙🏼 also got to smell the new fb fragrances Rasasi scent. I would say it’s a win.
I’ve listened to a couple and have some recs but would be keen to hear some new ones and give them a listen for sure.
Les Oderants - a group that talk about fragrances (they can be a bit of a niche snob podcast) but they do go more into depth about the fragrances. They can also dive into the chemicals and compounds of how scents are made which I found interesting. They have a specific taste and make it known. But it is a good listen and they have long episodes.
The scent geeks - 2 pom YouTube fragrance content creators (fragmental & frags 2 riches) that just jump on and chat about fragrances and some other stuff. Bit more on the laid back side of things. They have a couple different people on there as guests. I enjoyed this one a lot. There’s 100 episodes available (more so for the blokes I’d say but of course anyone can listen)
The cologne podcast - 2 blokes that love fragrances and know next to nothing extra about it at all. And make a podcast based around that whole idea. Just no thrills 2 blokes talking about what they think each fragrance is about. Can be a bit boring if you’re on the more knowledgeable side of fragrance but good if you’re sort of just getting into it. Didn’t mind this one.
Smell ya later - a man and a women , which were involved in some sort of fragrance writing at some point and decided to do a podcast on fragrances. I found this one a little bit harder to listen to but I’m only about 3-4 eps deep. It isn’t the worst but I’m finding it a little annoying to listen to I’m not sure why. But I can see other people possibly liking this.

I’ve risen from the dead , I’ve been sick and bed ridden allllll Saturday. Slept all day (think I woke up twice) I literally fell asleep twice trying to buy samples yesterday 😂My sotd will have to be something cozy I think I’ll put on my partners Eclaire - Lattafa.
