am I missing the disclosure here?👀

I bc thought influencers were generally supposed to disclose material financial connections, including certain family relationships. If her husband still has an ownership stake in Nello, I’m surprised there wasn’t a clear disclosure when the product was being recommended.
Also, putting a sticker over a baby’s face is not the same thing as fully protecting a child’s privacy. Their body, daily life, routines, and personal moments are still being shared publicly. With AI and technology today, the risks go far beyond someone simply seeing a child’s face.
California has also recognized that children featured in monetized content deserve protections, including potential requirements around setting aside a portion of earnings from that content for the child. I truly hope that if Navy is being included in monetized videos, they are making sure those protections are being followed and that something is being set aside for her future.
A child’s image shouldn’t just be viewed as content it’s their identity and their future. I understand people praising parents for not showing a face, but in today’s world, a face is honestly only one small part of protecting a child’s privacy.

aitah for feeling like someone else’s influence pushed me into becoming a version of myself that I didn’t like?

I’m a 21F and last year I got involved with a guy who was extremely charismatic, impulsive, and honestly kind of reckless. Before meeting him, I’d always considered myself pretty level-headed and rational. But when I was around him, I started making decisions I normally never would have made.

I found myself ignoring red flags, getting jealous over things that wouldn’t usually bother me, overanalyzing situations, and constantly seeking his approval. Looking back, I don’t even recognize some of my behavior. It’s embarrassing because friends would point things out and I’d defend him every time.

Now that we’re no longer involved, I can see how irrational I was acting. Part of me feels like he brought out traits in me that I didn’t know existed. Another part of me thinks it’s unfair to put that on him because at the end of the day, I made my own choices.

When I talk about the situation with friends, I sometimes say he “changed me” or “made me crazy,” and a few people have told me that’s just me avoiding accountability.
