pull out from shifting

hi po! earlier (friday, july 3), nagpasa na po kami ng requirements for shifting (sa College of Science): shifting form, note of undertaking, at photocopy ng IDs.
i was expecting na kami po ang gagawa ng study plan namin, pero may sarili na po palang ginawang study plan yung college na paglilipatan ko, and i found out na underloaded ako. because of that, mae-extend pa po ako ng 1 year sa PLM.

initially, i backed out, but one of the professors talked me through it and shared some words of wisdom huhuhu. i was really convinced at that moment, kaya tinuloy ko na po.

pero pag-uwi ko po, saka ko lang na-realize na hindi pala siya doable for me. 1 year is a lot, and i feel like i could spend that time studying for the boards or working instead of still being in school.

now, i’m hoping to ask if it’s still possible to pull out my requirements. i feel embarrassed knowing that the chairperson already gave me the chance to back out, pero bumalik pa rin po ako.

TL;DR: i ssubmitted my shifting requirements last friday, but after finding out that i’ll be underloaded and my stay in PLM will be extended by 1 year, i realized that it’s no longer a practical choice for me. i initially backed out but was convinced to continue at the time. i’m just wondering if it’s still possible to pull out my shifting requirements. thank you po!

How’s life as an irregular student?

I just passed my qualifying exam to shift to my dream program. I’m curious, is it hard to make friends when you’re an irregular student? I’m a little scared kasi I’m so used to having a friend I can lean on. Baka mamaya ma-outcast ako if I continue with shifting. 🥹
