Can't downgrade MSI Center anymore ):

I use an MSI Vector laptop and I was extremely satisfied with the old version of MSI Center, which included the Silent Mode. However, after it was updated to feature only 3 modes (Battery Saver, Balanced, and Performance), I found a way to uninstall it and download the older version. The step prior to that was pausing app updates in the Microsoft Store for 4 weeks, and this method used to work every single time.

However, it seems everything has changed now. I am using Windows 11 Home, updated to the latest build 26200.9168, and it looks like Microsoft has removed the ability to pause app updates in the Store. Whenever I try to pause updates, a prompt tells me that I need administrator privileges to do so, even though I am using my administrator account. I’ve tried every possible way, searched Reddit and YouTube, and literally tried every single method, including writing scripts in Notepad and others, and none of them worked for me.

I am very frustrated with Microsoft and its stupid policies. Now, I will be forced to use the crippled modern version of MSI Center."

Has filmmaking not remained the same as before "The Last House"?

Yesterday, I was watching The Last House, one of Netflix's latest movies, and I really struggled through it. I know there are plenty of bad movies out there, but this one in particular had a massive media campaign, and I saw a lot of people praising it. Yet, I was shocked, the movie felt lazy and full of cringe-worthy moments, and the actors were terrible. Honestly, arabic drama series are a million times better than it.

Frankly, it made me wonder: Is the problem with the movie or with me? Has the film industry's direction changed, and do the minds of the new generation differ from mine, or is the dilemma mine alone? Is it because I'm used to movies considered among the best in history from the early 2000s, 1990s, and 1980s, which made my expectations too high? Especially since a movie like Dune is praised by everyone, while I found it to be one of the worst movies ever.

Since I finished the film recently, I will start spoiling:

>!1- Electricity and Logic: Everyone is safe inside their homes, and anyone outside is hunted by sea monsters. Despite this, the electricity remains working until the middle of the movie for over 6 months until the director finally remembered and decided to cut it off.!<

>!2- The Missing Monsters: Where were the monsters at the beginning of the movie? Everyone was sitting by the windows normally and daily, despite the pouring rain. Then, suddenly and without warning, sitting in front of the windows becomes dangerous, and they have to cover them with curtains. Even the animals outside were numerous and widespread as if the monsters didn't care about them; yet at the same time, we see a dog running away when it rains, sensing the monsters, which implies the monsters target them. (Illogicality at its absolute worst).!<

>!3- The Hunger Scene: The little daughter cries of hunger and asks for more food. Her mother replies, "I'm hungry too." The girl wants to open the fridge, and the mother says, "We are all hungry." Honestly, I feel like AI could write a much better scene than this.!<

>!4- The Car Repair: The father knows the outside world is dangerous, yet he wastes his time fixing his car and tells his family the "good news." The son replies that this is a waste of time, and the father's response makes zero sense, saying things like, "I protect you and work hard for you," and other useless nonsense.!<

>!5- The Monster Breach: A monster breaks into their house, tries to eat them, and then leaves. The son notices the door is open and tries to go out into the dangerous outside world at the exact same moment the monster is leaving (not just illogical, but an insult to the viewers' intelligence).!<

>!6- The Girl and the Animal: The little girl has spent 5 years eating the captured animals with her family. Suddenly, in a moment of realization, she tries to save one of the captive animals, and it bites her. The father gets angry and kills the animal, despite the family trying to stop him even though they eat these animals every day! (My brain is melting).!<

>!7- Bargaining with a Monster: The father catches one of the monsters and threatens to kill it unless it opens the door for them, as if there aren't thousands of other monsters outside.!<

>!8- The Ending: The ending is so awful that I can't even describe it; I honestly wished the movie had no ending at all.!<

>!9- The Sequel Tease: Worst of all, the ending sets up a second part where they will start their adventures outside the house (I can't say anything more).!<
