Somehow I became the integration between all our sales tools

Had one of those dumb moments this week where I was copying account info from one place, checking another tool for research then opening the CRM to figure out what happened with the deal none of it took that long on its own but I probably touched four different systems just to decide whether one company was worth following up with.

Early on I didn’t care because the stack was cheap and I could keep most of it in my head now there’s more pipeline and it feels like the setup itself is becoming work so I’m starting to care less about having the best CRM enrichment tool, data provider, whatever and more about having one revenue system that can find the right accounts, understand the context and keep the sales process moving. If consolidating that means we can grow revenue without immediately adding more people to babysit the stack I’d take that tradeoff.
