Hey! A few months ago I did a grand tableau with the question: what will happen between me (woman) and man in the next 6 months?
I read based on the method of distance and am leaving my full interpretation on the bottom of the post but had a question about what does the ring above heart combined with stars mean here? I wasn't able to read around the man card objectively so would appreciate any insight!

Context: This is about a guy that I dated for a short while but the connection was very intense (at least on my end). He started ghosting me and going silent so I broke things off and never reached out again - neither did him. We still see each other because he works in a restaurant I go to every week with my sister.

Full interpretation:

Start (3-card line): The situation starts with constant news or interactions that aren’t clear to me or bring confusion.

Corners (the frame of the story): This is about friendly news and interactions that happen in public and are connected to feelings or desires (this is for me because it’s my Grand Tableau).

Center cards: There are choices or options regarding stability and hope, and there isn't clarity on this new situation. The paths to reach the goal are unknown, and the goal itself is crushing the possibility of something new or a new way to see this situation (Moon), which is causing conflict (Whip). The Book in this spot shows that something will be revealed within the time period of the spread that will lead to a new (Child) way of seeing things (Moon), and the interaction will become harmonious (Lily, Ring); however, that is beyond the period of the spread (outside the comfort zone).

Fate line: There is dishonesty or self-interest that needs to be removed, or that will cause a sudden loss. This will prompt a journey to move away or distance herself into solid boundaries, ultimately rising on top of this situation.

The Woman

My card falls on top of everything in a very strong position. My line of sight indicates that there is clarity about the situation—a challenging ending that puts up a wall between me and the man, meaning casual interactions now feel like a burden of friendship and loyalty. However, there is no clarity on the confusing news and interactions currently happening (Rider + Clouds). The fact that the woman fell right on top of the Grand Tableau shows that nothing is weighing her down; I will likely feel in control of the situation and will have a say in how things develop over the next six months.

The woman is on top of what is being communicated (letter), so she is currently influencing the communication, but it has been stressful and dwindling (mice). In the next six months, communication will probably diminish. The Snake and Ways touching the Letter with the Coffin on top show that the path will lead to an end in communication due to a feeling of betrayal, but it won’t be straightforward. The Book also reinforces the Coffin, indicating that this will diminish until it is gone with no clear resolution.

The Snake sits in the hidden issue position of the woman's box, showing that the feeling of betrayal is heavily influencing the woman’s decisions. The Clouds sitting on top of it, with the light side touching the woman, show that she recognizes this to some extent, but it keeps her confused about where things stand for the future. The Sun and Letter touching the Snake show that the bright interactions (Rider) being communicated are actually convoluted, and the Snake on top of the Bear indicates an ongoing power struggle.

The Mice in the near zone show that control over the communication (Bear, Key) may be recovered in the next six months if she stands her ground (Bear) amidst the malicious chatter (Snake, Birds) and learns that going in another direction is the better option (Ways, Clover), or takes a chance on trying a different approach.

The Sun is the only luminary near the woman, which indicates that new energy will come to her in abundance (Fish), and she will be able to handle the stress and loss (Knighting the woman, Mice).

The Love Cluster

Anchor: The Anchor below and in the comfort zone shows she will have a grip on the situation and hope for stability. However, a few negative cards indicate that there will be trouble regarding that. Coffin + Moon indicates that recognizing this end will be painful, and she will be constantly reminded of it through the pleasantries exchanged, meaning she won't see it as a gift (Book + Bouquet). This constellation shows the choice will be one of disagreements with the man, and lightness (Child + Mountain) will be blocked or challenged during the timeframe of the spread.

Ring: The Ring to the far right shows that the bond will persist for the duration of the spread, but because it is very far away, I will have no control over it.

Note: This is where I was stuck. Why did this fall in the comfort zone of the man?

Heart: Its distance from the woman shows that feelings will cool down due to the nature of the connection and her desire for harmony in her personal life. Knighting the Heart (Moon, Tower) means she sees this as a bureaucratic relationship or that her feelings will be viewed from a different perspective, but this won’t be influential during this timeframe (outside the comfort zone).

Where Is This Going?

Ship: It is moving toward a distance that will be draining (Tree) and a change in perspective toward an institutional relationship (Tower, Stork).

Stork: No significant changes will happen during the timeframe of the spread because the Stork is outside the comfort zone. However, there will be a move from stagnation toward seclusion, and feelings will be kept private.

Stars: The way forward here is to view this as a friendly or professional connection (Dog, Ring) instead of seeing the person as a burden to her peaceful routines (Cross, Man, Coffin). However, she won’t be able to achieve this during the timeframe of the spread.

The Man

The man connects to the woman through the Cross and Letter, which shows that communication feels like a heavy responsibility for both of them. The Cross is stabbing him in the head, showing that he thinks of the connection as a burden he must endure faithfully (Dog) while attempting to approach it in a friendly, pleasant manner (Bouquet, Dog).

The Lily sits below him, showing his lack of virtue. Mirroring the Cross, it shows that while he has some control over his harmony, he feels like this burden is crushing it. The Stars mirroring the Whip show he hopes things will move away from conflict, and he is putting effort into seeming pleasant (Bouquet + Moon) to turn this into a friendly connection (Dog, Ring).

Both the woman and the man share the Mountain, Anchor, and Child cards in the comfort zone. This means there is a mountain between them, crushing the grip they have over the situation and keeping things heavy. The Heart falling in his comfort zone below the Ring shows that he still has feelings toward the woman that he keeps private (see last question).

He knights to the Mountain and Child, which tells me that his immaturity or inexperience will make things challenging. Knighting below (Stork, Heart) means he will undergo a change of heart during this timeframe.

Back to the Fate Line

The advice is to be strategic (Key, Fox) and take a chance or make a dangerous gamble (Clover, Scythe) to move away from this stagnating situation (Tree, Ship) into a better, solid vantage point (Stork, Tower). The Tower knights to the Child and Lily, saying there will be a new, more harmonious way of looking at things.

When to read court cards as people?

I always feel unsure to assign cards to external people in my readings in the sense that “this is someone coming into your life”. I tend to interpret all cards to the querent. So I was wondering how do you go about that? How can you tell if a card is someone else or the person who is asking? Thanks!

How does he perceive me?

Hey! I need some help interpreting these cards. I asked how does he perceive me? And defined I would read it like this:

Physically: the lovers (+ queen of cups clarifier)
I was confused here a little bit. I think queen of cups means he sees me as very feminine in a traditional femininity way. But lovers could mean he sees me physically as his type? I am not sure.

Personality: death (+ hierophant clarifier)
Death also got me a bit confused. Does he see my personality as someone that isn’t afraid to cut off what doesn’t serve me? Or does that mean he sees my personality as constantly evolving or transformative? Hierophant made a lot more sense to me because I am quite intelectual and pragmatic. I am also curious and pretty knowledgeable because of that.

Energy: 3 of cups.
He sees My energy as warm, welcoming, joyful, and social.

Would appreciate some help interpreting the lovers and death in these contexts. Thank you!

What’s the energy between us now?

Hey! I’d like a second opinion on this spread.

Context: I dated this guy last year for a while and it felt awesome when we were together. With time he gradually pulled away and never asked me out again although he was always messaging me. I got a feeling he was keeping me as a 2nd option so after he ghosted me a whole week I said I didn’t want to keep talking and that was it. Nothing was clarified, discussed or resolved and that weighted on me heavily.

Here’s my interpretation.
Question 1:
His feelings towards me:
Ace of cups (+3 of swords as clarifier)
I read this as there’s this still some feelings on his end but he feels betrayed and heart broken. This got me confused because I don’t think he ever had any feelings towards me, it felt convenient to him.

Question 2
The energy between us:
Justice
This made a lot of sense. He works at a restaurant I go to and treats me nicely but I always give him a polite cold shoulder because he didn’t own up to his mistakes. Our exchanges are purely diplomatic.

Question 3
My feelings towards him:
3 of cups (+5 of wands clarifier)
This with the 5 made a lot of sense. Going to this restaurant with my twin was kinda like a ritual long before this guy entered my radar so nowadays his presence makes me feel like I have to shoo him away in order to protect my ritual with my sister.

Would love to know if you have a different interpretation on these! Personally, I seriously doubt he ever had feelings for me and has anything more than a bruised ego. Thanks!
