Cambridge City Council just voted down ShotSpotter out of privacy and efficacy concerns. So why do we have a state representative who endorses expanding the surveillance state, forcing people - particularly children - to hand over their ID to social media companies that routinely get hacked, with your sensitive info released on the dark webs? Cambridge deserves to be represented by someone who isn't out of touch with its residents, someone who actually cares about LGBTQ+ folx and doesn't just wear pink and wave pride flags, someone who is of the people and doesn't just take from the people, someone who won't defend the broken system that is Massachusetts.

A replacement is there now but John Corocan's killing was a clear indictment of how our leaders failed us in prioritizing public safety and transparency. The killer remained out at large for over a year among us just living his life. None of our elected officials cared, no new laws were passed at the state level, and now they're trying to make you move on. Vote all the incumbents out.
