Linkup done by Calculus crack —> Broadway ledge traverse/hike —> Boomstick crack —> pitches 1-4of the Squamish Buttress —> Buttlite (Buttface) variation

Total 14 pitches car to car 11+ hrs after some link ups, was really stoked I was able to get this done this season, I’m a fairly new trad climber so this means a lot to me.

Hardest part imo was the last route, 2nd pitch of buttlite (buttface) where there was an off width chimney (5.8), felt weird to have to push against the wall with my back while half of my body was outside of the chimney.

Routes were so busy! My partner dropped a #13 nut on the third pitch and I was so scared it would hit someone as there were at least 4 parties behind us and we started at 7:00AM. Really have to start early on a weekend.

My partner and I got this IKEA JONAX storage unit and it changed my life, previously my trad gear were all in cardboard boxes lying around, also had to store our harnesses in cupboards that didn’t have enough air flow which didn’t help with the smell.
