Anyone got iron infusions and at week 9 post still just feel terrible?? The anxiety the restlessness the inability to want to leave the house?? I was at least functioning prior to infusions! I wish I had never got them 😭

Anyone have severe overstimulation and anxiety after iron infusions?? I was never liked this prior to infusions!! Happened around week 4-5 post infusions.. and yes all my labs r normal including phos and ferritin now..

So I may need of some help and clarification I recently eight weeks ago finished my iron infusions.. I currently take Lexapro buspirone and Seroquel… at five weeks post on my infusion so I started noticing increased head, shaking, jaw, trembling, and really bad increasing anxiety. Has anybody had this happen? I’m thinking it’s maybe because of the neurotransmitters of serotonin and dopamine increasing after my iron infusions and then now my meds are too much?? All my last are normal ferritin is back in good range no low phos I’m at a loss.. these symptoms have been debilitating and I haven’t been able to work.

Has any one completed iron infusions while on SSRI? If so were u able to keep all the med the same or did it affect how med worked for u?

Has anyone had a regulated nervous system due to low iron? If so, did you reached a certain point after your infusions like five or six weeks, did you feel like you got a bad nervous system flare from the influx of iron in the brain and normal iron levels? Please tell me I’m not going crazy

Now that my numbers r perfect I’m still experiencing the nervous system issues.. for those that had to deal with nervous system deregulation how long did it take u to recover?? I’m having internally shaking and dizziness still feeling over stimulated and almost feeling like I’m still living in fight or flight just surviving.. I’m so tired of dealing with these flares!! Am I the only once experiencing this with low iron and no anemia… I also am a couple of days out from my cycle so it’s making everything worse

So I have been iron deficient for awhile but didn’t know and it destroyed my nervous system!! Finished my infusions 30 days ago and was having some better day but does anyone feel like hormonal drop offs prior to cycle wreck ur world with depression… I get in the worst slump .. so tired of dealing with all this .. I feel like I do pretty decent until my cycle gets ready to come and then I’m crying all the time and want to bed rot!!

On day 24 of my last iron infusion.. I thought last week I was getting more stamina back but now I feel like I’m just as exhausted!! Is it normal to still feel so tired 3 weeks and 3 days in? What week do u usually notice a difference ?

I found out I was iron deficient about seven weeks ago. I started getting iron infusions. (Venofer) 200mg. I have had a total of 3 because I’m not anemic just iron deficient.. I received my first iron infusions on 5/22 second on 5/29 and third on 6/5.. I am 10 days past my third and final infusion, but I haven’t noticed a difference in anything yet is that normal?
