Our apartment is the entresuelo balcony overlooking the door, and almost every day we get our bell rang, even for the same floor neighbors visitors and it just occurred to me: do they click all the buttons and I’m just the only one that picks up, or do they press mine because my balcony is closest to the door and can see who it is?

I don’t speak enough Spanish to confidently ask what they need or who they are over the door phone, but it’s a great motivator to learn and practice, as I’ve now become the defecto doorman to the building.
