I don't understand . Why does youtube and google spend money for advertisements when they have monopoly (ig they don't need marketing) .
Does their spending make sense or is it just a waste of money ?
I am a first year student participating in sih hacakthon 2026 . The problem is that I don't know how to make prototype . And internal hackathon is scheduled at 4 sep . I have to make a prototype such that at least we clear the internal rounds even basic .
Problem is I am full absolute confused don't know where to start .
Our problem statement - urban flood nowcasting system . (Can't be changed now ) which requires full backend ecen ml.
If anyone knows something about this . I request you Please share some tricks / method any advice to this folk .

I have a habit from the past 1-2 years of taking notes of things like which i often forget like some name , some relatives or some advice which i really think is important . My question is , is it a waste of time ?
Bro , i am a bit concerned as an cse undergrad. I saw some videos of a guy in which he was saying that the whole IT sector is fake and will collapse soon as it will begin dedollarization. Also he was saying that it had already begun with just a fancy name ai and previously it was dot com bubble crash which also happend bec of dedollarization.
He claims that it industry would shrink by 80-90% in next 4-5 years .
As a cse student grinding for leetcode made me think about this .
