I’ve been hand-washing my basket since I got the air fryer, mostly because I’m worried the dishwasher might damage the coating over time. It’s not a huge job every time, but after cooking something greasy, cleaning all the little corners gets pretty annoying. The basket looks like it should be dishwasher-safe, but I can’t remember if the manual actually said anything about it. For those who put yours in the dishwasher regularly, have you noticed any peeling, discoloration, or other problems? Does it depend on the brand, or is hand-washing still the better option in the long run?
