04 yamaha road star idles fine(little high have to adjust) but when I twist throttle she pops and then revs up. I have vance hines and k&n air filter setup. Adjusted jets 172.5 main 40 pilot, carb is clean. Air fuel screw is about 3.5 turns out what I missing here, its probably something stupid that im overlooking. Gonna try little propane around carb boots next to check for vacuum leak. Any help is appreciated thanks. On lunch break at work right now so I'll have to wait to get home to try anything.

So this is my first time messing with valves. and when I was leaving work yesterday when I started the car she started shaking like it had a massive misfire paired with some lifter ticking. When I pressed the gas( which probably was a bad idea) I starting hearing a intermittent clunk which now looking at it with the valve cover off is probably from the collapsed lifter not putting proper tension on the rocker. Thoughts?

Have a 01 250 that will not stay running cleaned carb and know it works because I have another 250 that I put it on and it runs beautifully with the carb on that one. What should I check. The bike starts but sounds like its got a clogged pilot, I know its clean but checked anyway. Any help is appreciated thanks
