Hi folks, I’ve got potential purchase of a 22 brz with 75,000kms. Carfax is clean, some service records, and exterior shows no sign of abuse. I think it was mostly used as a daily driver. It’s also automatic so it feels like most of the used car problems are likely eliminated by default.

My plan is to get a pre-purchase inspection. I’m not worried about the aisin 960e. The engine is my concern.

My plan is to: change the lsd, start transmission drain and fills every 10k kms until I get three in, plugs at 90,000kms, and stay on top of oil changes and top ups if needed.

Is there anything I need to specify at the dealership during the inspection ? Looking for sludge, oil weeping around the pan, the rvt?
