A New flower Pressing technique I’m excited to share!
PSA to my fellow flower pressers that impatiens, begonias, and geraniums don’t press!
What other flowers have you found that don’t press well?
Back at it again…until I get a full time job😅 Just graduated with my bachelors and the market is ROUGH right now.
So I’ve recently started posting on YouTube for art and flower pressing. Most of my videos have been shorts simply because it doesn’t make sense for most of my content to be long form yet.
Well I finally did a “long” form tutorial video and it’s stuck at 7 views. I’ve added tags and did hashtags, it is public, and marked not for kids. Am I missing something for it be suggested via algorithm?
Video in question is the only long form video from Naturelly Impressed
Have a few hot glue strands still needed to be taken off, but pretty proud of this outlandish pressed flowers and recycled jewelry piece!
For those who asked earlier: I finally posted a video on the process I most often use for the pressed flowers that are used in my art projects.
My newest and hardest project so far! Over 100 leaves and some recycled jewelry. Still unnamed😅
Back at the portrait trials. She looks a bit like Rumi but getting better at making them smaller😁
Swipe to see the progression! Old abandoned canvas and Dried flowers that I no longer had space for. Went in with zero plans but am really mesmerized by the result! Now just needs a name- any ideas?
Which is your favorite? I normally am a maximalist and do everything large but with this new art trend felt I needed to try it out. Small is definitely harder.
What is everyone growing in their gardens to press?
Needs a few finishing touches. Skull made with Muscovite “mica”, pyrite for the skull eyes nose and mouth. The surroundings are different rocks, pressed florals, and broken vintage jewelry. All on canvas☺️
Self Pressed Florals, jewelry, wallpaper and a lot of hot glue! Everything collected, recycled or repurposed…(except the hot glue and tool).
