I am pretty sure it is western hemlock, but I could use a second opinion.

We picked some Chicken of the woods. I feel about 85% confident that the tree was not a yew tree but I just can’t be sure. Super dead, not a single leaf could be found. The surrounding trees are I’m pretty sure western hemlock, which is where all the dry leaves are from
