I’m engaged to an AMAZING man with type 1. I’ve learned a lot (can now both feed him sugar for lows WHILE he’s mostly asleep, like, eyes closed etc) AND administer his “mealtime” dose of insulin if he drifts off into a food coma right after eating and needs a top-up. Still figuring out the long-acting (math is hard. Actually, I don’t like numbers at all and I’m in awe of how much mental calculation goes into all this.)
Anyway, the question is: how can I get the alerts for his Libre 3 CGM to be FLASHING LIGHTS air VIBRATION?’ I obviously cannot hear. I do have the companion app but I have now read the device help section AND the app one twice now and I cannot figure it out. I’m not technologically minded AT ALL. It would be nice to get something to at least work like they’re supposed to for once! 🙄
