My LG 5K2K OLED with HDR enabled has dull, darkened colors except whites

Hello, yesterday I received my first ever 5K2K OLED monitor, the incredible LG 45GX950A-B.

Instantly upon enabling HDR i noticed an extremely strange issue, all colors are a dimmer, darkened version of themselves, yet at the same time anything white is normally bright and accurate. My QD-OLED 32:9 monitor I had replaced with this new 5K2K monitor did not have this issue whatsoever with HDR enabled, so I am clueless as to how to start diagnosing the problem!

Summary & Explanation

- Colors are now a much darker and dimmer version of what they are supposed to be, the Xbox app icon's background is now a dim, dark green but with a bright white xbox logo inside. Since Firefox's icon has no white, the entire icon is very dim, you would almost think that Windows 11 is trying to say "this program is not available right now" with how dark it is, but it simply just looks that way.

The strangest part is that whites are not dimmed at all, in icons and everywhere else, the whites stand out just fine almost like white is the only "color" that can be bright and accurate in HDR.

SDR behavior is completely fine, Windows 11 looks nice and colorful throughout.

What I have tried:

- Changing monitor picture modes, changing peak brightness setting, adjusting color temperature, etc.

- Re-installing & resetting AMD Adrenalin Graphics Drivers.

- Running the "Pixel Cleaner" through the monitor OSD

- Checking for monitor firmware updates (It is already the latest version)

- Changing the SDR content brightness slider in Windows 11's settings

- Using Microsoft's HDR Calibration Tool to create a custom profile with appropriate peak brightness.

What gives?

Please keep in mind: I do realize Windows 11 desktop has poor HDR support and can look strange by default, but this particular problem has never occurred with my other QD-OLED monitor I had before, this is definitely not normal and is not the usual W11 HDR weirdness that is to be expected. I also use the DWM EOTF fix from GitHub to correct the strange default W11 HDR gamma problem, I tried disabling this aswell just in case, but I had no luck.

Unfortunately I am running out of ideas as to how to fix this, I would very much appreciate any suggestions! Thank you!
