[Update] Core One+ Prusa Pro Green White with UI Changes and CFW Release
Hey everyone,
some of you might remember my first post about this build. Don't be surprised — that was from my private account, but I'm using this one now.
Quite a lot has changed since then.
For those who haven't seen the original — the whole white look started with chemically stripping all the metal parts and powder coating them white. The handle got repainted in the closest match to the original Prusa Prusa Orange I could find. All cables are newly white sleeved too, which really cleans up the inside. And a white Buddy Cam to top it off.
Printed parts in:
- Prusa ASA Prusa Pro Green: https://www.prusa3d.com/product/prusament-asa-prusa-pro-green-800g-nfc/
- Extruder in DuraPro ASA GF Natural: https://www.3djake.de/extrudr/durapro-asa-gf-natur
I also added some printed mods — big thanks to the people who designed these:
- Multicolor PG Cover by Vitaprint → printables.com/model/1180583-prusa-core-one-gear-cover
- Multicolor XLED Cover → printables.com/model/894502-improved-flat-xlcd-cover-for-prusa-mk4smk39smk35sx
- Exhaust Fan Cover → printables.com/model/1419209-core-one-exhaust-fan-cover
- Feet v2 with TPU pads → printables.com/model/1237742-prusa-core-one-feet-v2-extra-short-with-tpu-pad-in/remixes
The printer is also running my own custom firmware — v6.5.4 CFW N3DP_DE, based on Buddy v6.5.3. I reworked the UI with different presets, a color picker and switchable backgrounds (white, black, gray).
If you want to install the Custom Firmware at your own Printer you can find the files here

New Settings in User Interface Menu
On top of that: LED control via M150 straight from the slicer — for another project I'll be posting here in the next few days if everything works out as planned 👀, Connect-Name in the footer so you can see which Connect printer you're looking at, and a screenshot option via knob-hold.
Maybe it's a bit of cheating but I'm entering this as a Print of the Month — there was a lot of work and a lot of printing involved. If that's not okay just ignore it for that 😄

Based on the SIgnage it seams like the Printer Is Josef Prusa Approved :D
