Size of tumor before surgery? TNBC

hello, I’ve done 12 rounds of chemotherapy and thankfully my tumor has shrunk from 3 mm to 1.2 mm. However, my doctor suggesting that I do another round of chemotherapy before I go into surgery. For triple negative breast cancer I wanna know what the size of your tumors were before you went into surgery. Do you think I should do another round of chemo? I feel like it’s pointless because they can’t confirm if the cancer is dead or alive or if it’s dead scar tissue and I feel like it’s gone small enough to be able to do a surgery. PLEASE HELP!!!
