First ₹99, then ₹149, now ₹199 for free delivery. I'm done with Zepto.
I am seriously disappointed with Zepto's recent updates.
When I started using the app, the minimum order value for free delivery was ₹99. Shortly after, they silently increased it to ₹149. While annoying, I accepted it without complaining.
But today, I opened the app to order and noticed a popup at the bottom saying "Unlock free delivery: Shop for ₹199". Doubling the original limit to ₹199 is just ridiculous for a quick-commerce app, especially for students or anyone ordering single/small items. It makes the platform completely unaffordable.
I have already sent them an email voicing my complaint and dropped a 1-star review on the Google Play Store detailing this issue.
Is anyone else experiencing this sudden jump to ₹199 in their area, or are they selectively targeting users? This dynamic pricing/threshold model is getting out of hand.
{{Side note : i have been using zepto "pay later" at first my limit was 2,500, then it got 5,500 now i saw it's reached 8,500 is it because of the pay later}}
