Spent months solo-building a manhwa platform where your reading becomes a leveling character — would love yall feedback

I read a lot of manhwa, and every tracker I tried felt like a spreadsheet — log a chapter, see a number, close the tab. Nothing made me care about my own profile.

So I built NEXORY a manhwa/webtoon tracker where your reading history forges an "identity", not just a stat line.

Your genres decide your "Reader Class" (e.g. Shadow Monarch, Sword Saint, Regressor) — an RPG archetype derived from what you actually read.
You earn titles with rarity tiers, climb ranks, and build a reputation ("Known For: Solo Leveling, Regression, Necromancer").
There's a profile other readers can actually visit, follow, and leave comments on — plus genre communities.
It's free. No paywall on the core stuff.

I built it solo over the last few months. It's early and rough in places, which is exactly why I'm here — I'd love brutal feedback on the profile experience specifically: does it make you want to fill it out?

I built a manhwa discovery + community site — could really use this community's honest feedback 🙏

Hey r/ManhwaNews! I'm a longtime reader who got tired of juggling spreadsheets, sketchy aggregators, and a dozen tabs just to keep up with my series — so I started building something to fix it, and I'd genuinely love your help making it better.

It's called NEXORY (https://nexory.space). The idea:

  • Discover and track manhwa / webtoons / web novels in one place
  • Every series links to its official platform (WEBTOON, Tapas, Tappytoon, Lezhin, INKR) no piracy
  • Community rooms + per-series discussions so reading doesn't feel so solo
