Hellblade Tattoo
Thought I would come and share my newest tattoo. I knew I wanted this for awhile now. Hellblade was the first/only game I actually followed through development, so it really was inevitable that I was going to get something from it. A back piece was really the only way to go with this because anything smaller wouldn't really be able to do all the details justice.
It might have been a little crazy, but we did this over two straight days. I wanted to be able to get as much done as possible so I could just take one like 2 week stretch off from work to do it and give it time to heal properly. I wouldn't recommend for everyone to try and rush a piece, but I have been going to my artist for over 10 years and have a lot of work already (including my kneecap which was the absolute worst). My artist was confident in what she was capable of and what I was capable of sitting through.
The piece is not fully finished as my artist would like to add some background/atmosphere/rune stuff, but this wasn't exactly cheap, so it will be a little bit before I finish it up. I think she did amazing work (as usual) with this and couldn't be happier with how it turned out even at this point. The nice thing is that even if some people might not know that this comes from Hellblade, it is still a really cool looking tree.
