What a fantastic game. They did it again.

I'm impressed how they managed to create a whole new situation in which Senua had to face and discover, fight on.

The graphics are amazing, at first I thought I was on a cutscene but the game is indeed well made. Nothing to complain about, just appreciate it. I'm really really thankful I could play this nowadays without any spoilers, no trailers seen, anything.

Well, I hope they manage to make a third game, Senua has finally understood, in the first game, that her promise isn't a prison, and now she's not her father's daughter entirely, she has a choice. I love this character.

Which game has better graphics: Death Stranding 2 or Hellblade 2

The first time I was blown away by a video game's graphics this console generation was Hellblade 2. I always thought that it was the best looking game of the current generation, but games are really taking advantage of the tech now. The most recent time I've been blown away is with Death Stranding 2 on Quality mode. What do you guys think? I don't have 20/20 vision by any means, but I feel as if DS2 is the best looking game I've seen in my life. Blows me away every time I boot it up.

Red dead redemption 2 is in my opinion truly the best looking game ever made and it still holds up today, but strictly looking at Hellblade and Death Stranding, which of the two do you think looks best?

TFW Senua's having a really emotional moment but she looks tuff so you gotta pull up photo mode

Can't wait to play with photo mode on hellblade ii

A few more screenshots I've taken (mild Hellblade 1 spoilers)

I wish I got better images of Valravn and Surtr. There were many good opportunities for that but I kept missing them. When I play this game again I'll try to get better images of them and a few of Fenrir since I didn't even take any screenshots of him. I am satisfied with my Hela images though. She looks great in all of them.

Hellblade Tattoo

Thought I would come and share my newest tattoo. I knew I wanted this for awhile now. Hellblade was the first/only game I actually followed through development, so it really was inevitable that I was going to get something from it. A back piece was really the only way to go with this because anything smaller wouldn't really be able to do all the details justice.

It might have been a little crazy, but we did this over two straight days. I wanted to be able to get as much done as possible so I could just take one like 2 week stretch off from work to do it and give it time to heal properly. I wouldn't recommend for everyone to try and rush a piece, but I have been going to my artist for over 10 years and have a lot of work already (including my kneecap which was the absolute worst). My artist was confident in what she was capable of and what I was capable of sitting through.

The piece is not fully finished as my artist would like to add some background/atmosphere/rune stuff, but this wasn't exactly cheap, so it will be a little bit before I finish it up. I think she did amazing work (as usual) with this and couldn't be happier with how it turned out even at this point. The nice thing is that even if some people might not know that this comes from Hellblade, it is still a really cool looking tree.

Is Hellblade 1 beginner friendly

I’ve actually already finished Hellblade, but I’d really like to have someone I know try it out. The problem is, they don’t really play games apart from the occasional mobile game. The only game I’ve ever played with them was There Is No Game: Wrong Dimension, mainly because it was fairly easy to get into for a non-gamer.

I’m not so sure about Hellblade, though. The puzzles can be a little tedious or confusing at times, and while the combat isn’t necessarily difficult, I’m not sure how challenging it would be for someone with very little experience with games like this. They still struggle with moving the character and controlling the camera at the same time, and in Hellblade 1 that’s pretty important.

I actually wanted to play Undertale with them, but I don’t own it on my current device, whereas I do own both Hellblade 1 and 2.

Oh, and I forgot to mention one other thing: they’ve never played any kind of creepy or horror game before. Hellblade 1 can be pretty creepy at times, and it has this really tense atmosphere throughout, so I’m also a little worried they might just get overwhelmed and give up.

So I’m wondering if Hellblade would be a good game to introduce them to, or if I should probably start with something easier and less intimidating?
