Is Hellblade 1 beginner friendly

I’ve actually already finished Hellblade, but I’d really like to have someone I know try it out. The problem is, they don’t really play games apart from the occasional mobile game. The only game I’ve ever played with them was There Is No Game: Wrong Dimension, mainly because it was fairly easy to get into for a non-gamer.

I’m not so sure about Hellblade, though. The puzzles can be a little tedious or confusing at times, and while the combat isn’t necessarily difficult, I’m not sure how challenging it would be for someone with very little experience with games like this. They still struggle with moving the character and controlling the camera at the same time, and in Hellblade 1 that’s pretty important.

I actually wanted to play Undertale with them, but I don’t own it on my current device, whereas I do own both Hellblade 1 and 2.

Oh, and I forgot to mention one other thing: they’ve never played any kind of creepy or horror game before. Hellblade 1 can be pretty creepy at times, and it has this really tense atmosphere throughout, so I’m also a little worried they might just get overwhelmed and give up.

So I’m wondering if Hellblade would be a good game to introduce them to, or if I should probably start with something easier and less intimidating?

Who is a good beginner Character?

I am a complete beginner to fighting games , and I am aware that they tend to be hard to get into, but im really interested in getting better to be able to play possibly at a higher level or sum like that. Now Ive tried a bit around in Avater Legends but I really dont know with which character I should start.. I tried Katara but her combos left me a little confused tbh so I thought if maybe I should start with someone else for now and maybe when im better at the game return to Katara. I also tried Toph but she just doesnt really click with me so does anybody have any suggestions for who I should start practicing with.

Should I get Resident Evil 7?

I was thinking about getting Resident Evil 7, but I’m a bit unsure because I think it has a lot of jump scares, and I really can’t stand those. I’m fine with most other types of horror, but not jump scares.

I’ve played several Resident Evil games before, but never a first-person one. First-person horror feels more intense to me because everything is much more up close.

The closest game I’ve played to RE7 is Alien: Isolation. I didn’t find it too scary overall, except for the facehuggers. The rest was manageable.

The setting also makes me a bit more uneasy because it takes place in a house, which feels very realistic. Even though it’s a rundown, creepy house, you could realistically come across something like that in real life, which makes it feel more unsettling.

So I’m not sure if I’d be able to handle Resident Evil 7 or if it would be too much for me
