Is this rejection fair?
I recently got a rejection from a researcher because they said I took more than 6 minutes to complete the study.
The thing is, when I started the study, there was a 20-minute timer running. So I was in no hurry to submit it within 6 minutes. I took my time to carefully read the questions and check the details before submitting.
If the researcher expected participants to complete the study within 6 minutes, shouldn't that have been clearly mentioned as a requirement, especially when the study itself provided a 20-minute timer?
I’m curious to know what other Prolific participants think — is this rejection fair?
I’ve seen posts where participants received rejections for completing studies too quickly, so I always make sure to take the proper amount of time and complete each study carefully.
