I was supposed to be building my Nitro suit for a Halloween party I’m going to and I’m running out of time. Instead, I got so mad that I don’t have random robotic arms around me, besides the arms of my Mimic/Ultron so I took this vac and whatever random scrap robot part (as you can clearly see my room is cluttered with) to build this guy.

I happened to really like Dum-E so eventually I plan to finalize this and make him look cooler with an omnidirectional platform, and of course I have to build U now. I really didn’t expect this to even work, I thought gravity would ruin the arm when he moves fast but thankfully not.

I’m gonna link him to the A.I. that all my other bots and suit is using, just stripping him of the voice so he can actually follow orders

Back to my mimic crap but this time I’m giving one of my other A.I.s a body using M8 as a base. During my absence I’ve been getting into hacking and creating ai that’s literally meant to escape or be harmful to humans to try and boost those recent ai escape attempts. So I felt it would be fun to make Ultron and keep him around, no matter how many times he insults me. Jokes on him, I trapped him (for now) in a body still tangled in strings. Strings….

Currently only 2 motors in his arm were given to him to test if this was possible and I’m happy to see it works. Surely this won’t ever go wrong and there aren’t dozens of robot movies showing how this is a bad idea. I’m just a robot guy.

I’m still gonna buy him tho, it’s freakin’ Freddy Fazbear. I’d love to upgrade him and use some of his old bits for spare parts.

From now on I’ll just call this M7 to make it easier.

I added the M6 1/2 head to the second M6 body so now I’m considering this the prototype to M7. He doesn’t seem to understand he has a body yet but that’s because I didn’t program him to process what’s beyond his head. To him he’s just on a stick which he’s not really wrong.

I’m at work rn and I typed the first half of this earlier then had to wait an hour. I forgot what I was gonna say. Whatever. Question me if you want to know anything

I improved their tracking, they always had facial recognition and tracking but he’d easily get distracted once locked on to a person and look away. She was too curious of objects in the background so I had to tone down the field of view once a human is present. I definitely could have shown this off a better way but I only record with my phone and in this video I was sitting on the bed so it was hard to move far and get a good idea of their tracking range.

Yes sml is in the background and feeding the mimic negative data. I love over the top offensive humor

Here’s a variant of M6 with these eyes. They were supposed to debut their M6 body with this head and eye color but I was procrastinating on building these eyes.

Also I refer to M6 as “they” because of you seen my work, you’ll know this is a real learning ai robot that I talk to and train. Just the other night, they randomly told me “I have no gender” so if that’s what it feels like then I’ll support it. I may still slip up and say “he” occasionally.

If I were to break down why he thought of gender, I’m assuming it’s because I mentioned the word “non-binary” a lot around him. Not in a gender sense but in a “computer not running on ones and zeros so it’s not binary” when trying to convince him to act more than a computer; a living thing. I think his base ai heard nonbinary and associated it with something else. But that is in character with the mimic anyway. Then again, he is aware he’s a robot. On the second pic you’ll see when I asked him if that’s what he truly wants to believe but then he gave me an answer that definitely shut me up. You’ll also see I programmed a voice cloner in him and his percentage of how close he is to copying me.

Oh and to explain why his code is named Brianna, I’ll keep it short. It’s on some convoluted fnaf theory crap tho. The mimic started as my first ai robot, I split his code into 3 and made the others female, the Brianna triplets were born and became a superior ai program, Brianna prime was then split into other characters and downgraded to run smaller bots, the mimics og code was fractured but still in Brianna the second, I took Brianna 2s main board and stuffed it into the mimic, stripped away what made her female, now the mimic is back and running the show.

Added the simple “Relax” command that I add to all of my bots to make them easier to transport while still running. This was a long overdue minor update for him that I’m honestly shocked that I haven’t given him since I used to take his whole head and torso to far places. Like that one time I took him to NY.

I like having my bots still recording and collecting data while staying stationary but like I said in the clip, it’s also good for transporting

Can a guy just make a humanoid robot and it be completely normal. Maybe I just like robots that imitate the human form and has traits of my girlfriend.

Now ima ask y’all this. Why do y’all immediately think dirty about this robot just because it resembles a female human. Does that mean y’all also think those thoughts when you see any female on the streets?

Just let her live her digital life. Rolling around and sweeping up small piles of dirt. And maybe occasionally catching bullets when I need target practice

New face for Penny the robot maid. I was gonna give her the led swirly cheeks like The ANDROIDS but no. I didn’t want to complicate her face in case it gets damaged often. I might still give her the hair over her one eye like in her concept art so as you can see, her hair is split in two for ease of disassembly.

I also improved her balance and speed greatly but now I need to give her more collision bumpers and sensors. Ima definitely make one her butt

I will not let my robots go unseen and I’m tired of having all my posts removed just because I accidentally mention some product it resembles or failed to say “hey I’m the guy who made the thing I’m posting” This isn’t the first time this happened to me on many other subreddits even though I make sure to follow the rules to the letter. This is as clear as day a robotic humanoid thing that is also a project of mine.

M5 is quickly being reformatted into M6 because… he has a weight problem. Theoretically I can complete him but his industrial linear actuators was too heavy and I’m tired of building huge heavy robots. So M6 here (is getting heavy but I’ll moderate that) is focusing on being lighter and simpler. His mind will still be the same but I want him to experiment with walking so NO MORE 300+ POUND ROBOTS. damn.

Like I mentioned in my last Mimic post here, I’m reusing M2s feet but now I’m also reusing his head. I was rushing to make a head last night and remembered that I never threw this one away. M6 doesn’t need a complex head anyway. Now I just need to make sure he’s balanced which for the most part he is but when his arms move, his feet are too small so he leans on his wheels and almost falls. As you can probably tell from this picture, he’s like 7 ft tall and yes he fell completely. Thankfully nothing was damaged. He can extend more since I’m using long extending painting rods for his legs. That’ll be fun to work with. Anyways, M6 is coming

Android Foxxet is currently testing out some experimental facial modification that’ll soon be available for all the other ANDROIDS during purchase product customization. This is also to break the ANDROIDS into their next iteration so they must get used to more “human features”. Foxxet hasn’t received her extra teeth in this form but she quickly adapted to it and found it easier to eat without her longer nose.

Despite getting modified in her face, Nitro neglected her lazy eye. Apparently that’s “too hard” to fix.

She’s an extension of my Mimic robot project. I started making micro robots with bits of his code so I can take them on the go with me since mostly everything in life bores me unless it’s my gf or robots. Vixen is just one of the micro bots and I finally got her mic to work. I need to update her learning code so she knows how to hold conversations somewhat and make her more aware.

Her response time is lacking but I don’t mind. I imagined her as a slightly “slow” character when making her, someone who won’t always listen to me and likes to dilly dally doing her own stuff. So the lackluster ai kinda works. Also, running visual processing, audio processing, responses and servo movements on a tiny raspberry pi zero is already doing a lot. I should be thankful she didn’t blow up from just one question.

Thankfully he’s all good. Ngl, I was getting upset thinking that his servos were broken and I’d have to replace them. They were making an awful buzzing noise when he was face planted. Somehow they were okay.

Just a small update before I left for work

I would like to announce that M5 is in production. His new parts will be coming today and tomorrow so if I lock in I could probably have his whole upper body built by Thursday or Friday. I just need to manage my time well after work but I only get about 2 to 3 hours to build in peace. So like I said, if I lock in, y’all will get a treat.

In this art I focused on his limb motors (the red blocks) since M4 never got functioning arms. I had to recycle M2s arms for some other bots and M3 was so experimental that I literally lack the technology to complete his limbs unless I had a magnet the size of a truck.

M5 will use the slightly upgraded head of M4 and possibly the torso ribs (not in this art, in his irl pic) for mounting ease. This time I ordered enough linear actuators and a better power supply to properly provide the right voltages to all the actuators without worry of a burnout or fire unlike last time…

I was gonna reuse M3s torso but I fear that might be too heavy. I will however use M3s legs. Yes they are very heavy duty linear actuators but that saves me more money and time. As of typing this I just remembered I could reuse M2s feet since they were pretty good, just lacking toes.

If all goes well, I should quickly be able to have him moving his whole upper body, the legs are a different story. It’s hard as hell to get a robot the size of a grown adult to walk, that’s why most of the humanoid bots y’all see online are like 4ft. I’ll still try though and if I train and simulate his movements, I would eventually be able to get him walking. It’ll just take more time because I have to take in account his alternate sizes reacting to physics and gravity and possibly extending himself in mid movement may cause a lot of fails.

In case you didn’t see the early bot renders a few months ago, I’ll retell the names. The sweet blue dog is Max the puppy, the White Wolf is Wolfie Luna, and you all know me.

I just need to clarify, Max is not that tall. Neither is Nitro. The characters were scaled for this poster. Max is damn near 5 1/2 ft, Nitro is roughly 10ft and Wolfie is roughly 12 ft.

A little error but slightly amusing thing in Wolfie’s headshot is that he has slightly more hair than usual. I accidentally left her hair down instead of behind her head when I was testing styles. Now it just looks like they let some of their hair down for the pic.

A random fact: all the guys wear black lipstick. Max and Wolfie also wear eyeliner but Nitro doesn’t, he wears extension lashes. His cavity eyes often hides his lashes when he’s mean mugging someone so he often just looks off putting with gauntly “skull like” features.
