Just booked my first trip to Mexico City with my husband from the last week of June through the first week of July, and I’m SO excited. But now I keep getting feedback that I completely messed up by going during the World Cup and that the city is gonna be absolute chaos 😩

Is it really that bad? Like, is the city going to be insanely crowded and hard to enjoy, or are people being a little dramatic? Would love honest opinions from locals or anyone who’s been during big events like this!
