



It, of course, is shitty that they reduced staff.
But strictly speaking about the movie watching, I have yet to have an experience where the phone usage has been a problem that would not have already been a problem before. I would like them to add Apple pay or let me save a payment method so I don’t have to manually type it in, but other than that, I think the process has been ok.
Under the previous system, servers would talk sort of loudly at the beginning of the movie to people who just walked in at the start of the show to explain how the process works. This problem is now gone.
It isn’t ideal, but the movie going experience is significantly better than something like AMC, where it’s total anarchy in there. Taking pictures with flash on, talking, etc. Alamo is still better.
