Pattern is from Carousel Horses in cross-stitch by Donna Cooler. This is the November thanksgiving horse… The book was published in the 1990s, hence the racial stereotypes that Im obviously not planning to include, but as I want to have all 12 horses, Im not going to skip the pattern entirely. Im planning on removing the bears, and feathers from the horse/frame, but would love to hear anyone else’s opinion on what to edit or remove to make it less offensive. Any tips on how to actually fill the edited space would also be greatly appreciated.
