Weird stuff after obd2 reader

Yo guys!

I’ve just brought a cheep obd2 reader of temu to try and do some live readings of boost etc whilst driving through my CarPlay unit

It was working sweet for about 10mins or so. Then all the dash lights came on, I stopped on the hard shoulder, turned the car off and put the hazards on, the hazard lights etc didn’t work though. After unplugging the obd reader and restarting the car all went back to normal, I assume the issue was caused by the obd reader messing with the can bus or something but was wondering if anyone had anything similar happen or knows what obd reader will not cause these problem.
Thanks in advance!

Gauges, not wanting to go access port.

Hi, I’m wanting to add and oil pressure and temp gauge to my car, it’s a 2nd gen so don’t wanna do the a pillar gauge pod as there’s an airbag.
What kind of set up is everyone running. And if they’d be able to link me some would be awesome. (Right hand drive)
Cheers!

Buying Mazdaspeed 3.

Hi, I’m looking at buying a mazdaspeed3 2nd gen. A few days before I went to look at it it had a aftermarket intake swapped out for a stock one, since that’s happened it’s throwing a lean code p0171

When inspecting the car today I noticed this was off and the fitting on the bottom wasn’t the right size to go into the nipple that it looks like it should go into.

Along with that the stock pipe that goes into the back of the blow off valve was disconnected and not plugged up.

I’m wondering if anyone can send me a photo of how their engine layout is in the same area and if the disconnected bov piping could be causing the lean code

Photo 1 is the small line disconnected, looks to be from the boost solenoid but please correct me if I’m wrong.
The second photo is showing where the first photo is taken in

Thank you
