Second Round of Letrozole in One Cycle (Stair-Stepping)

Has anyone had to do a second round of letrozole in the same cycle?

I took 5 mg of letrozole on CD 3–7 and had ultrasounds on CD 9 and again today (CD 11). My follicles were still too small, so my clinic started me on another 5 days of letrozole at 7.5 mg beginning today (CD 11).

I do normally ovulate on my own, but it’s usually later in my cycle (around CD 18–24), so I’m wondering if that plays a role.

If you’ve been in a similar situation, how long after starting the second round did your follicles respond, and when did you end up ovulating or triggering?

I currently have another scan scheduled for CD 15, which will be 4 days into the second round. I’m wondering if I should ask to be seen a little earlier or if CD 15 sounds about right based on your experience.
I’d love to hear how things went for you. Thanks!

Trigger Shot Timing With Frozen Sperm

This will be my first IUI, and I’d love some input!
I started bleeding Monday (6/22) around 7 PM. It was bright red when I wiped and I passed a small clot, but there was barely anything on the pad. The clinic initially counted Monday as CD1, but after my baseline ultrasound today and explaining that I wasn’t sure it was true full flow, they changed it and counted Tuesday (6/23) as CD1.
The plan is Letrozole on CD3–7, another ultrasound on Thursday (7/2), then potentially trigger that day and IUI on Friday (7/3).
My concern is that if I trigger Thursday and have the IUI Friday morning, it could only be around 12–24 hours after the trigger. We’re also using frozen sperm, which I know doesn’t live as long. Plus, the clinic is closed Saturday and Sunday, so there’s not much flexibility for changing IUI to next day to make it 36hrs post trigger.
Would you message your doctor and ask if moving everything up by a day makes sense, or would you just trust the monitoring this process. I’d love to hear from anyone who’s done an IUI with frozen sperm and the timing that worked between trigger and IUI.

Is It Normal to Use One Frozen Sample for Just One IUI?

My husband works out of town, so we’re freezing sperm for IUI since our timing never seems to line up. I haven’t ovulated yet, so my first IUI won’t be until next month. He gave one sample, and I asked if they could split it into two vials so we’d have two chances, but they told me they usually recommend one sample for one IUI.

The doctor said if his sperm count ends up being really high, he might be willing to split it into two vials, but otherwise he doesn’t recommend it. Has anyone else been told this? I always thought one sample could be frozen into multiple vials, so I was surprised. Just curious what other people’s clinics have done and how it worked out for you.

I’m a 25M Australian citizen trying to move to the U.S. (DFW, Texas preferably) on an E3 visa. I have a Bachelor’s in Civil & Environmental Engineering and recently went from site engineer to project engineer. I’ve applied to hundreds of jobs in the U.S. and haven’t heard back at all no interviews, nothing. It’s getting pretty discouraging.

Has anyone had success with this? How did you land a job or get noticed? Any advice would really help.
