My journalist Zoi caught the former IT company director crying her eyes out on the street. Since I literally run every single lot and business in the city using Zois I created myself (I use a cheat to instantly swap their faces with Zois downloaded from Canvas), I recognized her immediately. I decided to interview her on the spot, but surprisingly, her status showed up as "Unemployed." I figured she must have been kicked out of her job and was devastated, so I instantly wanted to play from her perspective.

However, she was just a homeless NPC Zoi. The only way for me to actually control her was to become close friends and add her to my household, so I did exactly that. Then, I had her visit her former workplace. Sure enough, her old subordinate had already taken over her position. She tried to storm into the office, but a "No Entry" sign popped up, blocking her way. So, she waited out there until lunchtime for her former subordinate to step out... and they ended up having a massive showdown. Now that she's a playable character, I’m going to make her rejoin the company and take back her director title. The main goal? Kicking out the traitor who stole her life.

Benny has the Malicious trait, while Jane is Cheerful and Lively.

Jane loves spending her time watching music programs, which Benny absolutely dislikes. Because of this personality clash, Benny doesn’t even consider Jane a friend. You can see that his relationship indices are stuck at Awkward, Guarded, and Lukewarm.

On the other hand, Jane still sees him through rose-colored glasses. Her indices show a Mutual Crush, and she firmly believes they are Friends.

Just like in real life, where cheerful people tend to see the best in everything while malicious people twist and see the negative, the same seems to apply in this game.

That’s why Benny views Jane as a complete stranger, while Jane believes they are friends.
