Is WGU BS -> PhD possible?

Hi, I’m wondering if anyone has gotten their CS degree at WGU and managed to get a PhD at a T30? I currently have 41 Sophia credits towards the CS degree but feel like WGU would limit me for a PhD. I have the option to go to my local B&M for free but I feel like I’ve put in a lot of time into Sophia to get in

Edit:
I meant WGU BS -> MS @ a B&M -> PhD

I need some advice on whether or not I should restart

Hi! I’m currently struggling on what the best path for me would be. For context I went to college when I graduated high school and it was paid for but then I moved 17 min to the bordering state so I lost my scholarship, I had bad time management skills and took too many classes and was also working a job so I failed 2 classes and that brought down my gpa to a 2.0.
Right now I’m doing Sophia courses because they were cheap and I was going to transfer them to WGU to pursue my BS in SWE I have 41 credits right now. Ultimately I want to do research in embedded at a national lab or industry and in order to do that I’d need a PhD, since I can’t get any research experience WGU I was planning on doing a Thesis MSCS at the school I originally dropped out of, but to apply I would need a 3.0 and 3 letters of recommendation and they look at all your undergrad coursework and that would my GPA at a 2.8 so I thought going to a cc to take some classes to boost it up would be a good choice. But I don’t know if it would just be faster to start at the university I originally dropped out of from zero because I don’t think any of my Sophia classes would transfer, that way I could get undergrad research and not have to do an MS or if I should do the former. Just feeling lost and behind, and would appreciate some advice.
ALSO if I reenrolled to the university I dropped out of my tuition would be fully paid for since I’m joining the air national guard.
Location is Georgia
