I am a knife maker and blacksmith and have been looking into getting a laser cutter/engraver for etching my makers mark into the chef's knives I make.

I have been looking into getting the Creality falcon A1 10W to do this.

Will that be powerful to do the job?

Has anyone here done laser engraving of high carbon steels?

Is there anything I need to consider when engraving steel that has a mirror polish as opposed to a matte finish?
