"all animals are equal but some animals are more equal than others" Just Read

Just read Orwell's Animal Farm and it was such a solid and tightly packed read. Such a great thought provoking read on how rebellion can turn sour if power isn't kept in check and how manipulation and propaganda works.

Thoughts on this idea for a short?

A pickpocket steals from a man inside an elevator and when the elevator suddenly stops working, he must divert the man's attention away from his wallet by distracting him in conversation.

Genre - Drama / Comedy

Film - Short Film

Just watched this and thought it was decent but expected something more. (Mystic River, 2003)

It was a decent watch and some incredible performances apart from that the story was nothing special. I get the main point of it wasn't a 'whodunnit' but how the event affected the people around. How past trauma affects you, about justice etc but I still had myself waiting for something more that never came.
