Appeal already off to a bad start for ethan? 9th circuit court itself flagged an issue
The Ninth Circuit is citing Galaza v. Wolf, where it said you generally can’t create an appeal just by losing part of a case and then having the rest dismissed without prejudice. Because TED’s case followed a similar path, the court is asking whether TED actually has a final judgment it can appeal.
