Help on brake job 2018 signature

Did my brakes about 1k miles/2 weeks ago. They were initially fine but about a week ago started squeaking badly. After inspection of everything, the only thing I can see is that the rear driver side rotor has a band of rust on the face of the rotor, indicating that part of the pad is not contacting the rotor. I think this is what causes my squeak (squeak seems to come from about 5mph and lower, and doesn’t do it all the time but seems to do it always when on a hill).

Basically, my question is, what could be doing this? The rear pads are akebono and the rotors are brembo. I made sure that I put the correct pads on the correct side. Yesterday, when trying to diagnose this, I could see a very tiny visible gap between the very bottom portion of the outer pad on that rotor (the same face that has rust).

Anyway, I wanted to know if there was something I might have missed that’s specific to the car. Do the calipers have to be positioned a certain way, like do the grooves on it have to go any certain way? I know it must be in the EPB maintenance mode and should push straight back.

Very confused and I’m beginning to get frustrated because I can’t figure out where I went wrong.

Local 683, can apprentices request a different company?

Been working for Local 683 for over a year now. Will be skipping the first year of the school as I completed it at my career school. So, technically I’m considered a 2nd year.

I was just wondering if anyone knows whether or not apprentices are allowed to request a different company. I like the people I work with, but it’s been a straight 40 hours the entire time I’ve been here. There’s pretty much never any overtime. Also, I’m not learning much. We’re electricians, but we do data tech work (18/2, Cat6, Fiber, etc… the highest gauge wire I’ve worked with is 14/2). The only thing we really do that I learn about is conduit, but that’s what we do 90% of the days and it’s all 3/4” or 1” EMT, nothing else aside from very rarely some flex or seal tight.

I wanted to know if it was okay to ask to transfer before I went to apprenticeship contact. Should I talk to them first, or should I just ask my foreman for a clean lay off? I’ve mentioned it once before, but my previous foreman said he didn’t want to because I’m one of the only ones who shows up everyday.

Rocket Rack Build

Rockets are my second favorite type of firework, so had to build a rack. Just used precut 2x4s from Home Depot, drilled 1” holes using a paddle bit spaced every 2 inches. The pipes are 3/4” EMT conduit from my work. Shoutout to that other guy who did almost the same thing, he was my inspiration. First time ever building anything really, and it only took me about an hour. Very easy!
