Hi, I went in store recently and I’m pretty sure the cashier was new and made an error. Can anyone confirm.

The sale price of the item was $19.99 and I have a manufacturing coupon with $4 off. I told the cashier I would use my points to pay it all off.

I still had to pay $2.25 for taxes I guess… the cashier also didn’t know why.

In the app, it’s now -$18.

Can someone explain the math to me and if there’s anything I can do to get my money back lol (I have low hopes tho) I know it’s not a lot of money but it’s about the principle. I had the coupon and I wanted to use it.

Update: thanks everyone for the kind responses! I called customer services and they were super nice about it and returned $4 back in points for me!
