First Time Playing, Using CO2 Geyser as Air Conditioner?

This is my first save, I'm about 20hrs in, cycle 218. Needed to cool the plants and had this CO2 geyser nearby. The pool built underneath is going to eventually catch liquid CO2 when it cools enough, that's my hope anyway. Are there any long term implications here?
