Eyelid dermatitis, Perioral dermatitis. Allergies or not
At first, there were small red areas on the lower eyelid. They were itchy. There were also red dots near the eyes.
I applied a topical steroid ointment for 1-2 days, and it would clear up. It helped. This went on for about two years.
But over the last month, it flared up severely. I started applying steroids, but they didn't help; it got worse.
The doctor prescribed Locoid for 5 days, followed by Elidel. At first, it helped, but when I switched to Elidel, it returned even worse.
The doctor prescribed Elidel again, but I’ve been applying it for 3-4 days now, and it’s getting worse.
What do you think?
The diagnosis is contact dermatitis.
