Please can I have your recommendations for super warm clothing brands/suppliers (coats/trousers etc). Willing to pay a bit more as it will be used again. As long as quality is good and it does the job as my husband gets cold very quickly and needs to get tooled up so we can have a great trip. Have looked at serveral brands including North Face, Patagonia, Mountain Warehouse but the choice is bewildering. Some have ratings others don’t. Some descriptions claiming great things but then the reviews are bad with people saying negative things about how warm they keep you!

Fjord Trip

We booked a land fjord tour which starts at 10am beginning of December and duration is 5hours. The tour will visit Sommarøy and Grøtfjorden. Has any visited these places and is it too dark to enjoy the scenery?

I read that ‘civil twilight (blåtimen) at this time of the day means ‘The sky glows with shades of pink, violet, deep indigo, and cyan’ so it can still be enjoyable?! TIA

How to tackle big plant!

I have a plant with many pups that is around 1.2m and doing really well. Have found the best way to water it is to take it of the planter, and give a good water and drain outside. It would be lovely to let it grow even bigger as a feature plant but I don't know how to water it any other way. Then it would be too big and heavy to lift and carry it outside!

The last time I watered in directly into the plastic pot, it nearly died and took months to get better. Only revived it by doing the new watering method given to me by someone here! Any watering suggestions would be appreciated.
