Saintess from the empire

As a manhwa-only reader, I genuinely can’t decide how to feel about the Saintess/Hana . Her duality makes her interesting, but also frustrating.

Part of me understands that she was manipulated and used by ARM, but at the same time, did she actually commit crimes while working with them? Was she directly involved, or was she mostly just another victim being controlled?

And honestly, do you think she deserves redemption?

Right now it’s hard for me to sympathize with her because even if her past explains her actions, it doesn’t automatically make them acceptable. I’m curious whether the novel develops her character properly or gives enough depth to make her redemption feel earned instead of forced.

I read this manhwa years ago and genuinely loved it. I ended up dropping it around the time Desir got that new body or expanded mana pool—I don’t remember the exact point.

Recently, I tried picking it up again, but I’m struggling. I can’t stand Romantica at the beginning. What’s strange is that I don’t remember feeling this way when I first read it.

I know she develops later on, but I’m having a hard time getting past her early “noble commoner” attitude. It just comes off as insufferable right now, and I can’t push through it—even though I know she improves.

Has anyone read this manhwa/novel? I'm a bit confused about the factions because they don't use standard Murim sect names.

I know the MC leads a bandit stronghold, but I have two specific questions:

What is the FMC's sect?

What would his mother's sect "madorim" and his master sect be called in standard Murim terms?"
