Has anyone imported a car seat for their babe? My daughter is almost 3.5 and is just over 60lbs and all US car seats with a five point harness max out at 65lbs. Leaving our only option to be going to a booster but she is not developmentally ready for a booster at only three years old. We’ve talked extensively with multiple CPST and looks like our best option is importing the Joie Centra from Australia to buy us a couple years until she can safely be in a booster. Has anyone done this or have any experience with importing a car seat or using an Australian or European seat? Would love any advice!
