My cat was recently nurtured and the vet who did an exam on him informed us that he was showing signs of gingivitis. Now, ive had cats all my life and never really brushed their teeth or did anything for their oral care, as they never really seemed to need it. Maybe its because those cats were allowed in the backyard and this cat is completely indoors? Im not sure. Anyway, point is im not sure how to help him. Should i start brushing his teeth? Is there a medication i give him? Meow? Is it something i can completely treat at home?
