I bet you were expecting to see some popular character here, but nope! For this character I was inspired almost entirely by the Cyan Lizard.

And I suppose you're wondering, what the heck is the Cyan Lizard? Well, it's an enemy that appears in the mid-to-late game of "Rain World." Vena is practically a humanized version of this lizard. It's not shown in the reference image, but the lizard also has four tentacles on its head, and the inside of its body is blue and bioluminescent. The only differences, I'd say, are the shape of its tails, its limbs, and its abilities.

The next one is the Gulper from Fallout 4. Again, if you don't know it, it's an enemy that appears in the Far Harbor DLC. I mainly based it on its size and the way it normally walks, as well as its salamander-like appearance. Initially, I wanted it to be more like the poison dart frog, but I didn't like the final design, so I redid it, but I kept the poison-covered skin.

The next one is the gecko; the image specifically shows the crested gecko. I took the shape of the hands from this one, and it also gave me the idea for the blue rings that cover her eyes, so they look like the large, round eyes of this animal.

Finally, there's the image of the girls with blue fangs. I don't know where the image is from or who the artist is; I just saw it in a YouTube video and I liked it.

I don't know if this trend is specifically about popular characters or something I didn't understand, but this is really what inspired me.As for personality, I haven't been inspired by anyone, and besides, I don't have it well defined, except that she is shy. If anyone has any questions or comments, I'll answer them as best I can. Thanks for reading.

I'm working on two new characters and therefore two new Quirks for them.

The first Quirk its "proud strength" is a fairly simple power, the prouder the user feels the stronger he is, his physical strength is reduced if he loses his pride in any way, in addition to his strength can be such that he can end up damaging himself (it is similar to One for all).

The second Quirk its"Regression," a Quirk that allows the user to return to a past location. It's not exactly going back in time; it's simply teleporting to a place they've been before. The maximum distance is 5 hours back, but the more it's used, the shorter the time frame becomes until they can no longer return for a while.

Both Quirks belong to very different characters; the first is for a student at UA Academy, while the second is for a villain, who is more of a bounty hunter.

First post here. My OC Amber

Amber is not originally from Japan; she arrived in Japan as merchandise after being sold by her family. In Japan, she was bought by a wealthy couple who ran a br#thel in the red-light district. Although the idea was that she would work there when she grew up, the couple became so fond of her that they officially adopted her. Over the years, she grew up with the attitude of a spoiled princess until, during a trip to another city, her family was murdered by a group of four demons.she lost her left arm but she survived thanks to the intervention of Rengoku Kyojuro before becoming a pillar, who also introduced her to the Demon Slayer Corps.

Despite what her clothing, hair color, katana, or the fact that she was saved by the future fire pillar might suggest, she actually uses a modified lightning breathing technique; her fire style is a form of tribute to her savior. Amber's lightning breathing uses 3 of the original forms but with weaker cuts that cause a burning sensation that slightly slows down demonic regeneration.

Amber retains her proud, energetic, and conceited personality, but combines it with a more "heroic" attitude, always acting superior to everyone except her savior and her master, whom she respects and appreciates.

(More info later, I hope you like it)

VALERIA REMO (The Saint)

(It's a looooot of text, you've been warned.)

Valeria is a 27-year-old woman born in Rome, Italy. She has an athletic build and is between 160 and 165 cm tall. Her hair is light blonde, and her eyes are orange, fading to a golden hue. She has a gentle yet determined personality. Generally a pacifist who avoids all forms of violence but she is also someone who prioritizes her goals above all else. She is against the hero system and the use of Quirks in combat and works daily in search of a way to eliminate Quirks from the world.

Due to complications during pregnancy, she was born blind.

Quirk 1. (Leader of Faith) This Quirk allows her to control and manipulate religious people who share her faith, as well as those who view her with strong admiration, adoration, gratitude, or love. The mental affliction is unlike anything typically seen, as it produces an enormous devotion that compels the individual to follow Valeria. If the Quirk loses its effect, there is no memory loss or sudden loss of consciousness. The affected person is unaware that they were controlled; the effects simply diminish over time. During this period, the affected person may question their decisions or simply remain loyal to her of their own volition. This Quirk does not have a negative effect on Valeria, but it does have several limitations. First, aside from what has already been mentioned, it is necessary for Valeria to be conscious in order to remain active. Furthermore, people must see or hear her for the first time, whether on live TV, on the radio, or in person. After that, their minds will remain linked to Valeria until they lose faith, love, admiration, gratitude, or adoration for her. I emphasize that it is not necessary to be religious; an atheist can also be affected if they feel something for her in any of the ways mentioned.

(A simplified way of explaining how her Quirk works would be: it's like a status effect in a video game; once activated, the NPC suffers the effects indefinitely, and once deactivated, the effects gradually diminish but the damage remains.)

Quirk 2. (Bioengineer) This Quirk allows Valeria to modify anything organic at the cost of her own health. The Bioengineer Quirk is very simple, but for this reason it is also incredibly powerful, as modifying organic matter is not limited to closing wounds or changing appearances, but can also, for example, transform a plant into an animal, convert one food into another, cure deadly diseases, accelerate the production of fruits and vegetables from plants or increase the amount produced , remove Quirks, rejuvenate, and technically is also capable of reviving the dead. She can reconstruct and repair the systems of a deceased person, but cannot make them function, so resuscitation instruments such as defibrillators would be needed to successfully revive a deceased person(and it might still fail). However powerful this Quirk may be, it has a great negative effect on Valeria. Every time she uses it, her cells deteriorate faster than they can regenerate, and her circulatory system begins to fail, causing nosebleeds, tear bleeds, and in severe cases, internal hemorrhaging. Her limit is 12 hours per week; going beyond that could endanger her life and cause permanent damage.

(background story and motivation)

Valeria's mother was a woman of limited means, and she had been abandoned by her partner. So when Valeria was born, she left her at an orphanage run by the local church. There Valeria would spend the first years of her life and begin her journey in the faith. At the age of 3, Valeria would awaken her first Quirk "Leader of Faith"; however, this would go unnoticed because she was not someone remarkable in the orphanage, however, it did have an effect on the nuns who took care of her and they began to pamper her. Later, at the age of 4, Valeria awakened her second Quirk, "Bioengineer" (the reason she has two Quirks is that she was originally going to have a twin brother, but in the early stages of pregnancy, she absorbed her brother; the Bioengineer Quirk belongs to him). This Quirk was discovered when Valeria unconsciously began to change the pigmentation of her food and other organic elements since her blindness prevented her from knowing it. After an investigation, it was decided to give her special education so she could make the most of her Quirk. In two years, Valeria had demonstrated a great intellect, further developed her second Quirk, and was already a devoted servant of God. However, this marked the beginning of her rise as a "villain", as one day She had an incident involving a villain; fortunately, a hero arrived in time to stop him, but the incident left Valeria thinking and— she began to question her faith because of Quirks. How could God give so much power to beings as easily corruptible as humans? It didn't make sense. Why would anyone be born with weapons in their bodies?she asked herself, As she prayed, she came to a conclusion: if it wasn't God, then it must have been his complete opposite, a move by evil to lead God's children astray, embracing violence, ego, and greed. With this in mind, Valeria set herself a single, great goal in life: to eliminate Quirks from the face of the earth in the name of the Lord. Her studies became more serious and her experiments more daring. At age 12, luck smiled on Valeria when a university professor noticed her and adopted her. Her education improved significantly, and her studies now focused on human anatomy. Furthermore, Valeria never abandoned the values she was taught in the orphanage. Part of her practice involved helping injured people. As long as she was accompanied by someone who could assist her visually, she could handle people without much difficulty, she also began to practice genetic modification in plants,Working in fruit production. All of this would work in her favor, as it began to bring her fame—the fame that would finally bring her original Quirk into play. she began to become popular in her city for her acts of good faith. , Her father encouraged her to enter the world of social media, so she quickly began to gain more fame. the negative effects of her Quirk only made her more beloved, and more and more people unconsciously fell under her influence and spread the word about the woman they began to call... "The Saint." At 17, Valeria was already fully aware of how her first Quirk worked. She already had thousands of followers and counting, so she only needed a little push, which she got when one day she saved the life of an old man who had been hit by a car, and this old man turned out to be a member of the Vatican. Thanks to this stroke of luck, Valeria managed to become part of this institution after several requests supported by the person she saved. From then on, Everything was uphill for her. She gradually rose through the ranks, controlling the minds of most of the Vatican members with whom she interacted. It didn't take her many years to reach the Pope's side. Besides, she never stopped studying and she never stopped her research either.finally, at the age of 24, She succeeded in her main objective, For the first time she was able to completely eliminate a Quirk. Furthermore, her many acts of good faith and her position in the Vatican led her to become one of the most famous people in the world who isn't a hero or villain. Now, all that remained was for her to spread her philosophy throughout the world and find a way to make her Bioengineer Quirk even stronger. So, for the next three years, she dedicated herself to gathering people with amplifying Quirks and super-geniuses to try to create the perfect group or a machine that would allow her to use her Quirk indefinitely, She does not hesitate to use her position and every resource or method she has to achieve her goal,She always tries to help those she can because she is naturally good, but she has done and will do things that she is not proud of in order to build a better world.

I read your comments, here is more information about The Saint and new changes.

Okay, I read most of the comments about Valeria, and most agree on the same point, about why she has 2 Quirks, and I have an explanation: the "leader of faith" Quirk belongs to her, the "bioengineer" Quirk belongs to her twin brother. Before they were born they were going to be twins, but at an early stage of development she absorbed her brother, hence the second Quirk. I know it doesn't sound very convincing, but I like it, plus it's better than just saying she has two for no reason.

Regarding a woman in a position of power in the Vatican, I must say I don't think it's wrong. I mean, if you were in the Vatican, would you lose the opportunity to have someone who can literally cure anything? Basically, perform miracles,Besides, in a world that has completely changed, they too must adapt.

Someone also mentioned the introduction of religion into the My Hero Academia universe. I think it's interesting. Quirks aren't very old, and at least initially, they imply that the world was similar to ours before Quirks. Plus, there are holidays like Halloween, Christmas, and Easter. And lastly, I'd swear that Ibara chiozaki in Class B often appears praying, or at least in a pose that resembles it. Because of all this, I think religion is already there; it's just not mentioned because it's not important

🎶NOW! THE IMPROVEMENTS. 🎶

I'll take one of the suggestions and now the Quirk "leader of faith", besides not having an effect on atheists or people of different religions, will also not have an effect on very devout people, I also add that the Quirk only remains active while she is conscious, if she falls asleep or faints it deactivates and only affects those who hear or see her, and lastly, keeping it active wears her down physically and mentally, making her have to rest for long periods of time.

As for the "bioengineer" Quirk, it can only function on about 5 people of average height and weight before it becomes dangerous to her health. Exceeding this limit will affect her circulatory system and degrade her cells faster than they can regenerate. After reaching her limit, she must wait 24 hours before she can use it again 5 times.

Also, both Quirks can be affected without any problem by blocking Quirks.

Is this better? If so, the next post will be about the complete character along with her backstory. If you have any feedback, I'd be happy to read it. Everything helps me improve in the future.

Is this too OP?

I'm making a new villain and I like her quite a bit, but I think I made her too OP.

Her name is Valeria Remo.

Villain Name:La Santa (The Saint).

She has 2 Quirks, "leader of faith" and "bioengineer"

The first, "leader of the faith," allows her to control people who follow her same faith and people who see her as a deity or figure of worship. The thing is, Valeria is an Italian woman and an important member of the Vatican, so with this she easily has control over most of the world's population. And if that weren't enough, her second Quirk, and the only one that is publicly known, allows her to alter anything organic; however, the larger it is, the more energy it requires.

With her bioengineer Quirk, she can completely erase terminal illnesses, heal mortal wounds, turn a flower into a rabbit, and most importantly, she can remove Quirks from the body forever.

As you can see, she's too strong, and although that's my intention, I think she could use a few extra weaknesses.

Should I leave her like this? Or what can I add her so it's not so broken?

Thanks for reading :)

New OC.

First, a little story.

Originally, this character was going to be my new profile picture, but apparently there's something obscene about this adorable creature, and I can't use it... three days wasted, But oh well... what else can I do, right?

Now, the character! She is Kaleidoscope. Her Quirk is as beautiful as it is powerful and terrifying. Kaleidoscope has a normal life, good parents, a good home, and is even quite popular for her beautiful crystal body. She is somewhat expressionless but polite and kind.

Quirk: Crystallization

Every time Kaleidoscope draws a circle, everything inside it transforms into a cristal kaleidoscope—structures, cars, people, everything. To undo it is as simple as breaking the circle, but it must be her who does it.

u/No-Kaleidoscope6725 — 2 months ago

Her Quirk is limited to avian dinosaurs; she's also unable to transform into other prehistoric reptiles like marine reptiles (Mosasaurus, Pliosaur, etc.) or flying reptiles like the Pteranodon. However, she can transform into any other dinosaur, from the gigantic Argentinosaurus to the famous tyrannosaurus Rex.

A former student of UA Academy, Neo entered by recommendation and graduated as one of the best in her class. She became an exemplary heroine who would seek justice and safety for people throughout Japan. She fought crime and rescued civilians in distress wherever she founds it,She was a woman loved and admired by many.

Sadly, Neo lost her life when she confronted a powerful villain and prioritized the lives of civilians over her own.

Neo's death would ultimately motivate her sister to become a vigilante seeking revenge.

Vena (Geko) spending time with her older sister Neo, several years before the incident. The two sisters loved each other very much and spent a lot of time together, even when Neo became a student at UA and later a hero. She always returned home in her free time to spend time with her adoptive sister. I'll draw Neo and her Quirk next time

u/No-Kaleidoscope6725 — 2 months ago

Also known as Neon Gecko, due to the glow of her body. She was abandoned at birth but was adopted at age 3 by a family where everyone has reptile-related quirks. Her older sister was a professional hero. When Geko was in high school, her sister died at the hands of a villain. This motivated Geko to seek revenge. She became a heroine, but not an official one, because instead of risking them escaping and more people suffering the same fate as her sister, she prefers to make sure that they never hurt anyone again. (I should add that because of the shape of her hands and feet she is able to climb walls and ceilings.)
