Hey, guys! It’s nearly my birthday, and in preparation, i’m going to give you some info about a fanfic i’m writing!

So, my story is one i’ve had an idea for for a few years now actually, but only recently started properly writing it. The basic premise is that it’s a continuation fic and a self-insert fic. It follows the escapades of Daniel Harto Smith, a student from a hero school in London, England, as he joins class 2-A after the final war as part of a foreign exchange program. It revolves around Izuku and the others’ second year at UA, with this random guy nobody invited who thinks he’s on the team. But Danny’s not going to be replacing Izuku as the main character! I'll NEVER let this be a Mary Sue fanfic and I'll do whatever it takes to make my story and character well-written!

I must confess something about the story: It originally started out as a character.ai chat with a bot. I’m sorry. Forgive me. I know you probably hate me now, but i’m not finished yet. While I had plenty of original ideas for the story, I didn’t always know what to write to flesh out the story in the periods between my own plans, and while I admit I knew it had problems, I liked it because it felt more immersive. I would correct any mistakes it made and change whatever the bot said that I didn’t like.

I’m an honest guy, so I don’t think there’s any point in hiding it. Even if I did hide it, it would probably come out sooner or later that I used to use gen AI for this.

The key word here is “used to.” Wait, that’s two words.

Some time ago, I lost access to the website. I can still look at my chats but I can’t edit them unless I verify, which I don’t want to do. And when that happened, I took it as a sign that I should stop relying on “AI Slop” to help me write this. I’m currently in the process of rewriting the whole thing, replacing all the lines that I didn’t make myself with my own, original content. But i’m so used to the stageplay-style format that the website used that I’ve kept it. It may look like a chat but it was written in a google doc.

This story has gone through multiple iterations, with each one being better than the last. My writing was pretty horrible when I first started, but I think it’s gotten better.

I’ll be releasing the first chapter on my birthday, so if you’re interested and haven’t been turned off by the dark truth about this fic, and again i’m sorry about that, mark the 21st of August on your calendars. The name of this fanfiction is…

I love role-playing with my oc and with other people, it's just that some people make it really hard to actually put your oc and actually role-play.

Specifically what I'm talking about are overpowered ocs. I know that I'm the one asking someone to role-play with me, but putting my oc who is a street tier up with some other ocs that are galaxy level just objectively isn't fun. I might sound arrogant but for me personally if i have to give my oc mechs and support gear so he can be below sidekick level is just too op. And don't get me wrong i like if you're strong oc is well strong but on the same level as All Might in his prime isn't even role-playing anymore, my oc is just looking at yours going light speed through someone for jaywalking.

I am very flexible when it comes to role-playing, but overpowered ocs is just where i cross the line, because you're oc can be as strong as you want him to be but he can't be stronger than the Big Three of MHA.

It might only be my opinion but if an oc is desperately being the main character it's kinda bad, because there is two of us so we should be equal. And also what do i do when someone's oc doesn't like to talk or has a sad background and that's their whole personality?

JUST TO MENTION BEFORE PEOPLE GET MAD AT ME, I TRY MY BEST, BUT I HAVE PREFERENCES TOO. I COULD BE THAT IT'S MY FAULT TOO. I JUST WANT TO SHOW HOW I FEEL, EVEN THOUGH I SHOULD PROBABLY KEEP MY THOUGHTS ALL TO MYSELF. AND I HAVE NO PROBLEM WITH STRONG OCS WHEN IT'S JUST YOU SHOWING SOMEONE YOU HAVE AN OC BUT WHEN YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO ROLE PLAY THEN THERE ARE CERTAIN UNSPOKEN RULES YOU KINDA HAVE TO FOLLOW SO YOU DON'T GIVE A BAD IMPRESSION

As MUCH as I tried to resist this trend going around (even considering making an “opposite” version of it to be funny 😭) I caved. Oops.

Just to restate our contestant, this girls’ name is Utsumi Kishiko! She’s 149 cm, in class 1B of the UA program, and her quirk is “Aquapor”! (An aqua-kinetic quirk based off of the liquid in her body connecting to other water-based fluids around it through the ultra-breathable pores on her skin. Fantastic!)

To put my own little interactive spin on all this, there are multiple things you can ask/do with our lovely lady & theoretical gameshow!

1. ⁠Which canon character would she fit best with? I’m not sure you guys know her real end game and I’m a mega multishipper, so any first or second year student is on the table, regardless of gender.
2. ⁠Where would your oc take her on a date? The more personality detail the better! She’s the type of gal to try most things at least once, and I’ll either word-out— or maybe even draw out how I think it would go!
3. ⁠Which of my other eligible ocs (listed in the next slide) would look the cutest with her solely based on looks? I’d love to know your opinion, and I’ll give a little information on the both of them as well!

You can do as many as you like or none at all! This is what happens when you try to hold off trend hopping on something that you thoroughly enjoy, shipping dynamics.

P.S, I have no clue why most of my other ocs look grumpy in the photos that I chose for them ✋😭 just aura farming I guess, so mostly ignore that if you’re trying to decipher personality. We will find out soon!!!

Quirk: Bad Luck

Type: Emitter

Jinx’s Quirk allows her to manipulate the luck of a person, object, or area she chooses. By sending out a wave of negative luck, she can cause things to go wrong for her target in a chain of increasingly unfortunate events.

The Quirk doesn’t necessarily create bad things out of nowhere. Instead, it makes unlikely or unfortunate outcomes much more likely to happen. Someone might trip at the worst possible moment, a weapon could jam, a support beam could suddenly give out, or an attack could miss by just enough to cause a bigger problem.

Once affected, the target can experience several different instances of bad luck at once, with minor problems potentially snowballing into much more serious situations. The stronger the misfortune Jinx tries to inflict, the more energy it takes out of her.

The biggest downside is that Jinx can control who gets the bad luck, but not exactly how it happens. She knows something will go wrong, but she can't always predict what. This makes her Quirk extremely powerful, but also unpredictable.

(This is my first time making a MHA oc, so if theres anything wrong with how her quirk works and functions, please lmk!)

So, after the war, Levi ended up going into seclusion for the next 2 and a half years, disappearing off the face of the planet to all except for a handful of people (Nezu, Anan, Toshinori etc.) 

Levi decided that during this time of peace, he wasn’t going to be the one to halt it by attacking some random bystander, so he devoted his life for those years into finally creating a cure for his bloodlust.

And after many, many failed attempts Levi finally created a drug that worked! The drug in question caused his heart rate to speed up drastically, causing the amount of blood pumped through his body to increase and recycle so fast that his bloodlust vanished due to the incredible amount of blood coursing through his veins, this drug also caused every aspect of Levi’s quirk to enhance (at the cost of his eyesight becoming pretty poor…) giving him all of the perks of his normal form, and none of the bloodlust that normally came with it. 

For the first time since Levi was a kid he’s finally re-taken control of his life and has created a perfect merge between his heteromorphic traits and his humanity! 

He ended up receiving a Nobel peace prize due to his scientific achievement, and distributed his new cure worldwide, allowing many blood drinking quirk users to have a chance at a normal life (Levi asked to not receive any of the money that this medicine would make as a sign of apology for all the lives he’d taken in pursuit of this cure.) 

Users of this drug need a blood transfusion every two months or so or else the cure will begin to wear off.

Quirk: Vampire bat (perfected) 
The user is a large heteromorph with bat like traits including fangs, large ears, and wing like flaps under their arms (these wings can grow larger if the user wills it) abilities include, superior strength (around 25 tons seems to be the limit) superior agility, superior speed, superior senses, echolocation, and clawed hooked feet capable of grabbing, acting as extra hands. 

Downsides/weaknesses: the user is very sensitive to sunlight, their skin burns easily. 

Personality: once quite reserved and reclusive Dr.Andrei has since become quite the extroverted and social man, regularly leaving his home and meeting up with friends of his, taking time to greet fans, and go to scientific conferences, showing a side of himself that people never knew existed. Though most of his time is still spent at U.A. Or with his family, his wife and 3 children. 

Likes: Italian food (spaghetti is his favorite) his family, biochemical engineering, science, helping others through his discoveries, shady days, rain, video games, ice cream, reading

Dislikes: darkness (has severe nyctophobia) people who have the choice but refuse to change, spiders, hospitals, violence, spicy food, sensory deprivation chambers, strong smells, loud noises.

(I decided to retcon Levi’s death at the end of the war, and his injuries he sustained at Kamino, because I had so many more ideas, and truthfully I only gave him those injury’s and killed him off just to be angsty lol, this feels like a logical next step to his character, and I’m super happy with how this turned out!)

His quirk is called: Swapbodies She can switch bodies simply by touching the chest of the person she wants to switch with one hand and touching the other person with the other hand. She can also do this with herself and another person.This exchange causes a strong shock so you have to be mentally strong otherwise you will faint after the exchange. Jion is already used to it even if at times she is tired if she exchanges her body she could faint.

Since I created it recently, I'm curious to see what feeling it gives to people.
